Krissy Mastoras
Krissy Mastoras is a licensed illustrator and surface pattern designer who specializes in vibrant, joyful designs for giftware, stationery, fabric, and children’s products. She founded Krissy Mast Art, LLC, in 2023. Her work draws inspiration from what she cherishes most, including her children, her dog, eclectic collections, vintage hotels, and a love of bold, saturated color.
Before launching her current design career, Mastoras spent four years as an art director at a top NYC ad agency. She then built her first custom illustration business, Miss Design Berry, into a million-dollar brand that served over 35,000 clients. Her illustrations have been featured in The New York Times, Martha Stewart, Today, and more.
Now entering a new chapter as both an artist and a mom, Krissy Mastoras is currently based in New York with her family, four little ones all under the age of six, her husband, and their beloved beagle, Brie. Balancing creativity and family life, she focuses on surface design, reflecting her playful, bold aesthetic while fitting seamlessly into her daily rhythm. When not illustrating, she plays tennis, enjoys sushi dates with her kids, or strolls through the neighborhood with Brie. She actively seeks licensing partners and agency collaborations to grow her portfolio and bring her joyful, color-forward designs to new markets and products.
