Connie Lim
Connie Lim is a professional fashion illustrator and a live events artist from Los Angeles, California. She blends her passion for illustration and fashion to create unique and impactful visual images. From the renowned ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena to Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, Lim was nurtured by top art institutions and consistently adheres to the essence of traditional drawing techniques. She shares: ”Studying at the Art Center gave me a strong foundation in traditional drawing—really learning to see and build form. Later, at Central Saint Martins, I was encouraged to experiment more and bring fashion into my work in a looser, more expressive way. That mix of discipline and creative freedom has helped shape my style into something both structured and spontaneous.”
Through her brush, she vividly captures the rich emotions and postures of figures. Top brands such as Guerlain, Chanel, and Alexander McQueen eagerly collaborate with her. Her work frequently appears in internationally renowned galleries and art publications, including TASCHEN’s selection for their ”100 Illustrators” collection and ”The Great Big Book of Fashion Illustration,” which is regarded as a ”visual bible” by fashion illustrators. Currently based in London, Connie teaches at leading art academies and offers online courses, sharing her unique insights and experience with art students.
