Shiyao Yin

Shiyao Yin is an illustrator known for her decorative narrative style, and she recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with an MFA in Illustration. Her work is a captivating blend of fairytale imagery and deeply personal emotions, and constructs poetic visual worlds that invite viewers into a space of gentle reflection. Yin crafts illustrations through a meticulous use of plants, animals, and symbolic elements, combined with soft color palettes and intricate patterns, and make them both emotionally resonant and visually stunning. While her primary medium is digital, she carefully layers hand-drawn textures to create a warmth and tactility that feels uniquely hers.
