Alfonso Cirillo aka Fonzy Nils

Alfonso Cirillo, also known as Fonzy Nils, is an illustrator and designer based in Italy. He is known for his vibrant visual language, which is composed of characters, shapes, and color-rich compositions. With a background in Graphic Design, Photography, and Architecture and a Master’s degree in Design, Fonzy Nils has worked as a freelance illustrator and designer for over 15 years since 2009. He blended his diverse disciplines to develop a distinctive and expressive art style. He specializes in editorial and advertising (ADV) projects and helps brands and companies communicate ideas through evocative imagery. Over the years, he has collaborated with a wide range of clients, including Indeed, Meta, Nutella, The Boston Globe, Shippo, Adobe, and many others.

Fonzy Nils began using this alias after practicing with letter-based drawings. He got inspiration from those studies and combined parts of his name to create it. Over the years, the name has become more than just a pseudonym; it is now an essential part of his personal brand and identity.
