The Shipping Point
An illustration for an article entitled “The Shipping Point: Going the Extra (Last) Mile.”, published in Mariott Alumni magazine.
The article is about how shopping online is now easier and convenient. With that, consumers expectations for fast, free shipping, known as the “Amazon Effect,” has strained last-mile delivery. Rising costs, delivery failures, and logistical challenges make this un-sustainable, and is pushing companies to innovate.

About the illustrator
French based illustrator, graduated from Emile Cohl Art School in Lyon, France, from 1997. After working as Art Director for an agency for three years, I started illustration in Freelance, about 20 years ago.
I like to work with geometric shapes, symmetrical compositions, vintage textures and limited color palettes, finding effective concepts by overlaying and nesting symbols in a constructivist approach. I've published many children books here in France with differents publishers.
I live in the countryside of Lyon in France, I recently built a wooden cabin-studio where I'm doing some screenprinting.
I regularly works for editorial (Washington Post, Ney York Observer, Boston Globe...), I love to illustrate and to design posters and book covers,
Represented by Rapp Agency in USA, and Patricia Lucas in France.
